A Touch of Dutch, Piper, is a 2011 15.3hh warmblood mare available for sale. Piper has been through our training program and is a consistent, easy riding horse on the flat with light aids and a keen attitude. Over fences, Piper has great knees & form over fences and is competitive as both a hunter and a jumper. She qualified for provincial championships in her first year competing in the .90m ring.

This year, Piper has transitioned to the hunter ring successfully, regularly pinning with her amateur owner at the provincial (silver) level. She brought home reserve champion at Pickering Horse Centre at her final horse show of the year. Piper also has experience in the equitation ring and is a smooth, easy riding horse with good 1/4 turns, a counter canter, lead change, and is an excellent horse for equitation type challenges. She is suitable up to 3ft.

Piper is an easy keeper. She trailers, baths, clips, ties, hacks on the buckle and is generally a pleasure to have in the barn. Piper requires some prep at horse shows to perform her best but is a competitive, pleasant horse to show and grow with.
