Finnegan is a 2013, 17hh, Canadian Sport Horse registered, Westphalian gelding available for sale or lease.
He was shown extensively on the line as a young horse with multiple championships and year end awards. As a 3 year old, he competed in the Lieutenant Governor's cup at RAWF. Fin has competed up to the High Pre-Greens (3'3ft). He claimed 4th place in the $5,000 Canadian Hunter Derby series at Ten Sixty Stables in his second derby ever. In 2022, he campaigned lightly with a JR on the Silver Series, winning champion of his division and the derby almost every time out.
In 2023, he had great results with his lessee, always pinning in the Low Children's while campaigning the Canadian Derby Series, as well as schooling up to 1m in the jumpers.
Fin has a well developed lead change, counter canter, & lateral work and loves to carry an easy to ride, steady rhythm. He’s a quiet, push along type ride whose favourite job, these days, is working with beginners and novices. He is a great teacher for someone looking to polish their skills with a well broke horse who also loves to hack and be groomed and fussed over.
