Queen B is a 16hh, 2011, Hanoverian x mare by Glorioso Noir, looking for her next partner for the 2025 season! With her current owner, B is a champion equitation mount, regularly helping her owner to wins in large, competitive Adult Equitation on the Flat classes and with the introduction of the over fences components at the silver level this year, has finished champion or reserve champion of the division every time out. She has been with our program for 3 years and has qualified for playoffs every year. She can answer all of the equitation questions and always gives her rider a shot at a good placing. She has a flatter, easy to follow style over fences, however is still a regular contender in her hunter divisions where she has competed up to 2'9. Queen B is competent at the derby and has received some nice scores in the 80s and is willing and able to tackle the handy turns, high options, and the spookier jumps that come her way.
Queen B is as sweet of a mare as they come. Not marish at all, loves spending time with people and being pampered. She is lovely to handle on the ground and is a gentle, kind mare under saddle making her easily rideable by most people. She has no buck or evasive behaviours, isn't spooky, and has been regularly enjoyed by partboarders of all ages and skill levels. That being said, next year we would like to see her with someone who can continue to guide this mare at the 2'6 level or higher.
B does best with some minimal maintenance (hock injections and chiropractic adjustments), but is sound, reliable, and otherwise easy to manage day to day. She does everything a show horse should do with confidence. B is a favourite and beloved member of our farm for her kind personality, easy going nature, try hard attitude and her noticeable appreciation of any attention given to her. We will be extremely sad to see her go, but her owner is off to university and we're hoping to use this time to expose this mare to some new experiences with a special rider.
