Scarlet is a rising two year old Hanoverian filly by Dubai (Donnerhall x Dürkheim) out of De Garance (Dancier x Rubin's World). She has an impressive dressage pedigree, coming from the RCMP Hanoverian breeding program. She stands 15.3hh and is expected to mature to 16.2hh+.
Scarlet has a ground covering, suspended stride that make her a lovely dressage or hunter prospect. She has a brave, intelligent attitude and takes to new experiences and challenges well. Despite her bravery, she is a quiet type- easy to handle and has been well started in her ground work. She is simple to work with and rarely has to be shown something more than once before she's got it. Scarlet stands well for grooming, picks up her feet, ties, trailers, baths, lunges, ponies, wears both saddle and bridle, and has been worked with over tarps and sacked out extensively. She is currently in training and green backed.
Scarlet has been started through the chute showing lovely form, scope, and a natural eye for her distance.
Scarlet is an easy keeper- can live in or out, takes minimal grain, has excellent feet (currently barefoot), and has straight, clean legs. With her quiet, brave, and willing demeanour, this filly has all the makings of an ideal amateur prospect but has the talent & drive to rise to the occasion of a pro's ambition. This attractive mare has been raised thoughtfully and patiently and is ready to go in any direction her new owners can dream to go.
