Zazoo is a 17hh, 2005, registered CSHA gelding (Hilton GS x Lorbas (Hanoverian) available for sale. He has competed extensively up to the 3'6 Amateur Owners, qualifying for the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Zazoo has tackled the professional derbies with all the high options and serviceable rounds and has pinned top 10 in the JR/AM derbies.

Zazoo is well schooled on the flat, with a light, responsive ride. He knows his job both on the flat and over fences, and absolutely loves to work and be fussed over. Jumps with good form every time, no matter where you put him and is an easy ride for equitations and flat classes.

He requires some maintenance to keep him performing at his best and is best suited for an under 2'6 ft job. He will forgive a bad spot and will always jump making him an ideal candidate for a rusty stirrup rider. He does all the things a show horse needs to do and still loves to do them! This special horse is extremely well loved, with one owner his entire life, however, with the owners' life changes, they aren't looking to return to the competition ring and Zazoo still has so much to offer a lucky rider. This is a wonderful opportunity for a JR or AM to have a great season with an enjoyable mount!

In February 2023, Zazoo attended his first show since 2019 and competed in the Open division at an OCEA Equitation show. With 4 catch riders, Zazoo almost swept the top spots, finishing with the win, 3rd and 4th and claiming Horse of the Day. He was enthusiastic to be back in the ring, handled the equitation challenges exactly how his riders asked and made a few great scores a couple different ways!

For the 2023 & 2024 seasons, Zazoo found a lovely lease job of starting a junior's show career. Zazoo has been a thoughtful, patient teacher and has brought his partner from her first show at 2ft to regularly contending at the 2'6 level.
